I recently upgraded my amp and front door speakers to a RF p400-4 amp and image dynamics cxs62 vs speakers.

i had the amp professionally installed, and installed the drivers side speaker friday. today, i went through exact same procedure - removed existing infinity reference speakers on passenger side, and wired the crossover identically for the new speaker.

when i tried to test it, nothing happened. it was as if the speaker wire was not even getting power. I tried re-installing the infinity crossover to see if it was an issue with the ID crossover, but the infinity did not work either. all speakers but the front right channel are working.

What the hell could i possibly be doing wrong here? i have the stock green speaker wire to the positive terminal, and the red to the negative.

I would run some wire straight from the amp to a mid to make sure the amp itself isnt acting up. No crossover or anything. Dont play it loud, just make sure you are getting a signal

try which ever channel is giving you problems.

Also, make sure the RCA cables are in all the way. You may even try disconnecting them and then reconnecting them

 

tyvm. i could have sworn i tried this, but i guess i had not. looks as though ID sent a dead crossover.

 

Receiving dead equipment upon arrival blows, and isn't ID gone now? It sucks because they used to be incredible.

they apparently are not dead, one owner simply bought out the other, and perhaps is mismanaging the companies funds, resulting in exorbitant production delays, etc.

I have called them directly a few times...they are still here.
