Question to all, I had the rear window tinted for my wife. Now she claims her radio reception is bad. Could this be the cause of the problem?

 

Yeah it could! Man your screwed!

 

The best tint is Huper Optik,since it's a ceramic tint. It doesn't interfere with radio signal.

Well yeah...I got black construction paper pasted to every window and my reception is better than it was before.

 

If the window tint you had installed was a metallic film then yes it will interfere with your cars radio reception (Usually only AM stations) If you did in fact get a metallic tint, the place should've told you that this could happen, if they didn't I would take it up with them, and get them to replace the film with a non-metallic tint.
