No App Video from P4300DVD

No App Video from P4300DVD
So I have finally gotten everything hooked up (bypass and all), but I'm not getting any video when going into APP mode? I get video/audio on DVD just fine, just can't stream videos from my iPod/iPhone, Netflix, Youtube, etc. I have the background set to 'Off" for the iPod source. I'm using the recommended cable IU-200V from Pioneer, what is the deal?
