I have some quick questions

Hey guys I have a custom box that is going to be built and I have already calculated everything out and the box is 1.48-1.5 cubes. This is without sub displacement. The chambers will not be separated for 2 alpine type r 10's.

1.) Would it be better for it to be a minimum company spec ported box or a close to maximum sealed box? (Both by Alpine standards)

2.) Should I fire them into the cabin or the trunk? The seats will be folded down most of the time as I only drive myself and a passenger usually (coupe). The subs would not be completely sealed from the trunk, but there will be no holes between the cabin and the trunk, meaning that other than the box edges there will be no air/ waves entering the trunk if fired into the cabin.

Misc Questions:

1) If I have my head unit video output going into three separate monitors (visor and two headrests) should I get a video line driver for the signal since its going to be divided by three instead of the intended one?

2) The avh-4300 only has an 3.5mm jack as output for audio. Can I run this into a car headphone transmitter through a converter cable that converts from the 3.5 to rca? Will this be enough power for the transmitter to get clear sound in the headphones? This rca cable will not be split. It is a one way one set of rca's that go directly to the transmitter. (the headphones are run by batteries so technically they are amplified already so they just need a signal)

LASTLY, does anyone know of a good pair of car headphones with a transmitter for lets say 50 bucks or less?

Thanks for all the help.

That's tooooo small for a box for 2 10's bro. Go maximum sized sealed rather than small ported.

Firing forward is a good option, though if you seal it off.

It won't be completely air tight but good enough. It's like a zenclosure box but a tad bigger and backwards.

Ported will be "louder" but sloppy. if you have enough power, sealed will sound better.

I have 1,000 watts going to the subs. so lets say 500 a sub which is a good ammount seeing as though they handle from 300-600. So sealed it is. anyone have any insight on the visuals?
