since you can connect your phone to our cars with the bluetooth function and be able to make calls from it, shouldnt you be able to play music as well through bluetooth connection from our phones??? is there a way this can be made possible??? if not i hope someone can figure out a way and invent it.. cuz i know i would buy it.

Yeah you would think that but sadly no. Not without replacing the oem stereo. Was a major irritation of mine when I first bought the car.

No. A2DP is an entirely different bluetooth protocol.

Get rid of the POS stock stereo and enjoy whatever features you want.

Well, you could waste money on a bluetooth to 3.5mm adapter like this one and combine that with one of the devices like the APAC-NIS1 that give you an aux input in these cars.

Of course doing those two brings you about half of the way towards a cheap headunit conversion. The Clarion CZ500 has bluetooth, a2dp and aux inputs and is under $120. Add a Metra kit for about $150 and you're good to go.
