RE Audio?

I've been hearing a lot of good things about em. People saying their subs bump hard. Only bad thing is people are hating that they aren't making them in the U.S. anymore. But I was thinking of getting one 12 or one 10 cause people have been saying just one hits pretty hard. I've also been looking at their speakers. Can you guys let me know if these are good to go also? And would you take one 12 for more bump, or one 10 for crisper precise bass? Heres the links for what I'm looking at. -Thanks in Advance And also add input on a L7 10 or 12 if you can.

2 Ohm, they also have a 4 Ohm, still unsure on that.

RE makes good stuff, and a 10" vs a 12" isn't going to dictate whether or not your bass is "crisp." The type of sub and the type of enclosure will.

sub/power/enclosure/placement of enclosure all play a part

Im running an LMS-R in 2 cubes ported 30~hz and the lows are amazing, tons of roof flex. This is with 1400rms.

If I run the same sub in a .8 cube sealed box with 500rms the sub is VERY accurate and blends in perfect with the front stage.

sounds like you might want boomier bass. Id go with a 12" in a medium to large ported box with a ton of power. I had an old Re SE and it would take 1000rms ok. It didnt like it but I liked to push it =)

Yea, theres people saying there pushing 1500. Hopefully I can find a decent box that will fit with good enough space for the 12. Finding a decent amp shouldn't be a problem.

Quick question before I decide. Should I get the 12" RE audio sub, or would you take a 10" L7? I was just wondering because the L7 comes with a factory box also and I know people say they bump.

Alright, I just got done talking to people on a car audio forum. They kept telling me SA-12... and those things look like they bump. So right now I'm set on one SA-12 but still haven't decided on what door speakers to get. Any ideas on just two door speakers?

Everything you are asking is extremely vague. Why don't you elaborate on your budget, what you are wanting to do, what do you like your music to sound like (bass heavy, something that's crisp and really brings out the cymbals, vocals, etc.) etc etc etc

Trying to stay around $500. I listen to hip-hop and r&b. Probably more bass heavy. Want at least something that will **** off the neighbors when I pull up into the neighborhood (I don't do that, just saying I want it to be decently mirror shaking bass). But get enough bass, but not do the big 3. I've had a 2 12" fosgate setup before with the shitest amp, box, and cables. So this one SA-12 should do the trick.

As for speakers... good enough to be heard over the bass. Getting a 4 Channel for them as well. Along with a 2 channel for the subs.

I would save up a lot more than $500, but that's just IMO.
