Cruise Control Problem

Hello everyone I tried searching for this but I haven't really found anything that answered my question so I decided to just ask. I have a 2004 infiniti g35 6mt and I tried using the cruise control but it doesnt seem to be working. I press the button and the light does come on but it doesnt seem like its controlling the speed. When I let off the gas the speed does down. I want to know if maybe i'm not doing it right or it is just truly not working?

Thank you for your help!

I had the same problem. This is what u wanna do. Press the cruise control button. Get to ur desired speed and while the cruise light is on push the toggle button above it down once where it says "set". Another light will come on next to the cruise control that says set and u r now in cruise control. Pm me if u have any more questions

Thank you so much Nico! It's good to know it works lol. I live in the city so I never get to use it but lately I have been doing a lot more highway driving so it's nice to have cruise control
