Lines in Video or engine noise

I just put in a new video screen and DVD player. When the engine is running I see small lines moving upward. The faster the engine revs the more lines. I know this must be from engine noise. Is there any video noise suprressors out there? Any other way to fix it? Please help. GF

Could it be just a bad video cable? What other issues in the cable would cause noise?

video cable running to close to power cable, screw through cable and others too. Possibly a bad cable also.
