Help asap! Pioneer HU wiring help needed.
Hey guys theres a couple wires on the avh 4300 dvd where I have no clue go.
1st wire is the mute wire. Is it even used on the g35?
2nd is the power antenna wire on the metra 70-7550. Where the hell does that go?
thats it. Thanks for any help. I will be posting my build in a week. This has just dumbfounded me.

Its pretty much simple, you do everything with the colors. Splice green with green, yellow with yellow, red with red, black one is ground just screw it on somewhere. All you need to splice up with the metra harness is the Green, red, BLue ( which is the power on antenna ) Yellow is what? there is a tag on each wire on the harness of the Pioneer harness. The GPS navi wire signal which you use the Pink is here
Grey wire with green line in the middle.

^ That's the vehicle speed sensor wire he's talking about, the 4300 doesn't have navigation, so don't worry about that ^
Mute isn't used.
Power antenna on the 70-7550 connects to the +12v power wire that goes to the cigarette lighter. The normal power antenna wires from most headunits is insufficient to properly power the antenna amplifier in our cars, so you'll get bad FM reception if you connect it to the "proper" wire coming from the headunit.

I use the scosche universal trim ring, but realistically, if you have any lightly textured black plastic you can cut a straight strip from, it'll be fine.
