Any recommendations on batteries??? I already have a yellow top optima and am still getting a transmission stutter when driving and the idle jump. I have not grounded the battery yet though.

 

umm im going to be using C&D technology deep cycle batterys, i will let you know how they do for me. im in the process of building a box now so shouldnt be long before i have everything in.

almost everything is installed, i have my sound deadener and my mids on the way, the subs are hooked up and its getting down. having problems keeping the box still. and the C&Ds are working great for me.

have the trunk deadened, but havent taken the headliner out yet to complete the job. havent gotten an amp for the mids so still using the stock bose. the batterys are great and keep my voltage over 11 on the low lows. my sunroof motor fell off from the bass, fixed that myself. im probably going to do a different set up soon.

 

i have 15" sundown nightshade v1 with dc level 5 recone; my car seems like its falling apart now (N) plus i have a sedan and theres no room ! im planning on getting 2 l7s now

 

Check to see if the DD is JDM or Metra, Wrathernaut's DD Shopping List & Resource Guide has pics. It's very easy to tell. If it's JDM you'll save a pretty penny not having to purchase it. Also this car requires some modification that you may get to skip if someone else has already done it.

As far as 2 subs in the trunk, check out some of the custom audio setups in the sticky at the top of this forum. The trunk in this car is about as small as they get, so some users have gotten creative and had great results. Ask questions alone the way.
