Well i read that the bose headunit off a 2005 will only fit those that have navi. And the 07 bose, the one im selling, looks exactly the same as the one of the 2005. So my guess would be that it could fit. But hopefully someone chimes in

The Bose headunit will ONLY fit those WITH navi? hmm, well I think Bose systems do come in 2005's that do NOT have navi. So that seems odd.

Just to clarify, my question is not whether the headunit will work in my car (because I know it will), but whether the trim (the trim wrapped in cf) will fit in my car...because I THINK I remember reading that the trim for non-navi applications is 1/8" taller than the trim without navi. If this is the case, then your trim would be a little bit too big for my car.

Regardless, I'm still interested. Any chance you'd be willing to sell the headunit separately from the trim (assuming the trim won't fit)? If the trim does fit, I'd like to get both because the cf wrap looks good...

I was a little confused as well. I just did some quick searching and thats what i found. U mean just buy the cd changer? I would have to have someone buy faceplate as well. I really dont know what their worth seperate. Unless u buy both and u could always sell the faceplate if it doesnt fit :-)

The headunit itself is the same whether you have navigation or not. The trim, however, is slightly different in size above the buttons.

Bose headunits from coupes 05-07 and sedan 05-06 are all interchangeable with other bose units from those same year ranges.

Just replace everything but the actual plastic/aluminum trim and it'll work fine.

Here's the difference in size:

And the difference it makes when trying to install:

^^ yes! That's what I remember reading. OP, I'm assuming your unit is the faceplate withOUT navi? If so, Wrathernaut, I think I remember you saying you had the ability to shave down the edge of a faceplate? Could you do it on this one? Even though it is wrapped in cf?

If Wrathernaut cannot/will not shave this one down to size, then I think I'm going to pass on the faceplate and just want to make an offer on the HU. I don't think selling the CF-wrapped faceplate will be too hard!
