Disc button inoperable
Disc button inoperable
I apologize in advance if I'm not clear with the explanation of my problem.
I have an 03 coupe, my radio has these buttons: Disc, AM/FM, Tape, SAT - 6 CD changer
I have no CDs in my CD changer at the moment because I use the USA Spec iPod hookup for music, which works off of CD button 5 and 6 for me. When I hooked up my iPhone last night like I usually do before I drive, the iPhone made the tone it always makes when its hooked up and charging, but I could not get any music playing from my speakers.
I pressed Disc to try and get it working again, and instead of saying "Disk Check" like it normally would when no CDs were present, I got nothing. Only the radio works. AC controls work fine, just can't access the CD.
Now, I have yet to try inserting a CD because when I press the "Load" button, it asks me to insert a CD, I'm actually a little hesitant to because I don't want it to get stuck in there.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what the problem could be? Is my CD changer screwed? I may try disconnecting the battery to see if that does anything, but any advice/solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
