car hesitation when bass hits. 03 sedan
So I installed a kenwood double din and 2 10's in my 03 sedan and I noticed when the bass hits it makes the car hesitate. Its a very subtle, seat of your pants hesitation but it drives me nuts. My wife took the car for a coffee run and as soon as she walked in the door she said "what's up with the car??" Lol. She noticed it too. And if she noticed it, well....you know its there. Lol. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
Check the charging system and battery first, since most car parts shops do it free.
What watts RMS are you actually running?
Grounding kits could help, but only if there's not some other underlying problem, like a bad battery or alternator going out (it's 10 years old now, very possible it's got a bit tired).

I had the same problem in my g when my sub hit I wint threw and cleans up my grounds under hood (sanded paint from ground points) and I added a second battery from stingger in my trunk is a quorter the size of your normal battery has almost twice the amps
And it's a sealed battery but after installing the battery and cleaning the grounds I never had the problem again my car ran better my sub hit harder it was a win win look in to it
