can u install a navigation system of a 2004-06 g35 sedan to a 2003?

can u install a navigation system of a 2004-06 g35 sedan to a 2003?

My friend is selling me a navigation for my 2003 G35 sedan which is non nav! But the system he selling me its from a 2004-06 g35 sedan! Does it fit?

Yes it is possible but it is going to require through knowledge of whats behind the dash and where so that you don't cut any wires. Along with that it is going to require a lot of skill and patience due to the amount of modification that you are going to be doing. I would recommend using a phone for nav or just pick up a new nav system from a store and just mounting that to your windshield.

No, 03/04 is different than 05/06..no such thing as 04-06..not worth the time and effort, go buy a tom tom

It's too much work. Just do a double-din conversion and install an aftermarket head unit with GPS. It'll work a lot better. The Infiniti GPS is a few generations behind modern technology. Kenwood makes really nice ones with integrated Garmins.
