Where did u have the amp mounted while using this box??

 

I had it mounted on the floor board behind the passenger seat so it wouldn't take up trunk space and it wouldn't heat up if mounted behind the back seat with the box up against it. I never had anyone sit in the back seat.

 

Is there room for the box to fit with the amp mounted on the back of the seat??

 

If you mount the amp to the back of the seat, be sure to have a fan installed as well. Perhaps something like this crossflow fan:

I've had my jl amps on the back seat for years, no problems so far..

 

There is room. I had originally wanted to install it that way.

Still have the ipod/iphone connector? and would that work on a 06 coupe?

 

I still have it. It was used on an aftermarket double din. I don't know if it would work on an 06 factory radio.
