I purch the NIS USA Spec for 2005 g35x with Bose, without Nav.
After trying both options with the dip switches that the manual suggests, and neither seeming to work the way I wanted. I googled and checked on g35driver, I ended up flipping all dip switches in the UP position.
Everything was working just fine in the SAT mode and preset 5.
Steering wheel controls work fine with the 3 sec hold to change songs.
Ok... Now the problem.
After listening to the iPod for about 30 minutes (or specific songs, I haven't confirmed yet) the radio will display loading and and the music will stop for anywhere between 1-3 seconds. Then it ll do it again and again. If I unplug the iPod and plug it back in it seems to do ok for a while again.
Any ideas to what is happening? Is it the iPod? The USA spec device?

Easiest test is another iPod. If that one fails too, a different adapter might work, but at that point, I'd say do what you should have done if you wanted proper iPod support in the first place - aftermarket headunit.
