jl 300/4

just bought a jl 300/4 amp from a lady in the neighborhood. it was her sons and he moved away and left it. she told me to make her an offer so i said $100 and she took it. i dont even know if it works but its in perfect condition. i figured for $100 if it doesnt work i can repair it and still be a deal. whats the best way to test it outside the car?

+12v from the battery to the power and remote on the amp, get a 3.5mm to RCA y-adapter to send the signal from an iPod or whatever to the amp, and hook some speakers up to it.

The 300/4 looks like this but will be silver not blue, and will also say 300/4 on the bottom right of the amp in this picture. Mine is painted LS to match my car.

I wanted to keep the pass through available on my sedan so I fabbed up a couple of MDF mounting boards to attach to the brace behind the rear seats. then the amps mounted to the boards. A body shop painted the amps with actual LS.

Stock sub is still in but disconnected, and I pulled the Bose amp out of the car. Here's my build thread if you're interested. https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...hlight=finally
