Sirius ready?

I got the car a few years back, its a 2004 6MT. It has the antenna mounted under the hood, aside from that i have no idea if its all good to go. will I need one of the sirius radio units? Or can it run through the factory stereo?

my 05 is sirius ready. Not sure about 04. All I had to do was call Sirius and give them my radio id and it was allset. Keep hitting "Radio" until you see SR1 and it should give you a phone number to call.

Antenna mounted under the hood? As far as I know, that's not where they've ever put a satellite radio antenna. They've always been just above the rear windshield.

If you're factory wired for satellite, you'll have a harness in the trunk (exact location varies by year), and all you'd need to do is buy the antenna and satellite adapter from a dealer (Grubbs Infiniti has everything you need) to get it to work.

Grubb's Infiniti definitely will hook you up with the adapter.
