Removing radio for 2004 6MT

Hey. I know I've seen a video somewhere, but I'm unable to find it now. I'm looking to replace my double din radio with another one, and can't find instruction on how to remove the center panel for a manual transmission. All I'm coming across is instrux for automatics.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

For what it's worth: I had a JVC KD-HDR50 (which is a single din) installed a few years ago. My wife bought me a Clarion CX501, which uses the full double din, because the menus will hopefully be easier to navigate.

When I had the JVC installed, I think they screwed up the antenna connection, since I can't get stations on the aftermarket radio that I could easily on the stock. So hopefully I will be able to fix whatever they did wrong. Again, I think I've come across something in the threads that an installer would be likely to miss when swapping out the stock stereo re: the antenna. Can someone point me to the right place for that as well?

Thanks,

Steven Rau

The video from bythabay is here - http://www.infinitihelp.com/diy/gcou..._procedure.php - It covers a 5AT, but it's essentially the same, except that to help get the trim up, you can pull the trim upwards by grabbing it through the boot, as you see in the video of a 05+ 6MT in my video (0:50 mark):

For any other questions, there's the master sticky at the top of this forum:
