I am currently only playing music from my brother ipod 4th gen but I want to play the music that my iphone 5 has. If I buy a iphone 5 adapter will it let me play the music? I have a isimple tranzit is77 and has a iphone 4 cable, will the adapter help me? If so which one do i buy?

 

You have to get the genuine Apple lightning to 30 pin adapter ($30 ouch!) or 0.2m cable ($40! WTF?). The clone ones don't have a d/a converter in the cable/adapter so they don't feed the analog audio out pins on the 30 pin which the isimple uses. The real Apple one will work fine for what you want.
