Grounding system question

Quick question about grounding everything with my DD install. When connecting all the ground wires together for everything, is it necessary to then ground it all to the chassis or will just connecting the black wires be enough since I assume the factory system had it grounded somehow to the chassis through the wiring harness anyway?

Whatever you decide, pick 1 ground.

Multiple grounds can lead to creating ground loops. One good solid ground is better than multiple grounds in which one path has lesser resistance than another.
