Help with Installation

Car: 2005 Infiniti G35 with BOSE without Navi

So I just purchased a JDM Double Din as well as a Pioneer AVH-P8400PH and was wondering, do you really need a PAC ROEM-NIS2 or a Metra 70-7551? I need to figure out if I do need one, which one I should order and whats the difference between both of these. I was reading that it will be quiet without one of these.

I have been looking all over and just wanted to clear it up a bit before making a mistake and installing without one of these. If I do then I guess I will order one!

With the bose amplifier being retained, and no aftermarket amplifier installed, you need the ROEM-NIS2. It will be quiet with the 70-7551. Of all the adapters that are supposedly equivalent to the ROEM-NIS2, it has by far the best success rate.

If it's on this list, it's not a mistake and it's necessary. The original post doesn't have 157 thanks and counting, and dozens (hundreds?) of completed installs.

All you really need is in the first three posts, you don't need to read all 1,500 posts in the thread, definitely.
