Bose removal questions

I'm going to be taking out the entire Bose system in my 04 sedan. I'm putting Polk mids/highs on a Polk amp and a Pioneer DD HU (haven't picked out a sub or amp yet)

My questions are: is it that straight forward with the Bose? Can I just pull it all out and replace it? Anything I need to know our look out for before hand? Thanks.

You're removing the headunit, amp and speakers - you're removing everything, and there's nothing special about any wires remaining, so it's pretty much the same as any other from-scratch install.
