Backup camera with OEM factory Navi unit

Hi guys,

I have a 2005 g35 coupe with factory Navi. I wonder if it's possible to install a back up camera using the navi as a monitor? If so, how should I do it?

Disclaimer: I have searched but I can't find it with factory Navi lol.

Thanks guys!!!

I wondered why I'd never seen that install before, then I saw that it was in the Off-Topic - Photography subforum

I moved it to the DIY subforum so it may be found more easily.

Since the original poster for that one hasn't been active in over a year, I'm probably going to have to try and copy it and mirror the pictures before more of them go missing.

It makes me mad that people make finding that purple wire seem simple. There are literally 10 purple wires in that collection of wires!?? GL with your install!

Yeah, I noticed it was an older thread but looked like it had enough info to get the OP started in the right direction.
