DVD player

Yes you are correct. You need a separate DVD player or DVD changer.

New 19's on the Skyline

Turned in my rear 18's for new 19x10 SSR GT3 rims. Tight fit, but not rubbing.

If you want onscreen touch control of the dvd player, you will have to buy a Pioneer 6-disc dvd changer, which is another $600.

I have the AVIC D1 in my G, see pic below. It does not play DVD. It only functions as GPS, and has another slot for CD. You can run an external DVD player though. Don't expect to drive while playing a DVD either. The old ground the green wire trick wont work. There are internal gyros in there to prevent just that.

Radio

I don't really want to get rid of my center channel under my head unit anyway. Does anyone know if I can still use my center channel with the Avic N2?

Sold it

Sorry all, but I traded my sedan in for a 05 Diamond graphite coupe. So now I have a new project to start.
