Phantom AUX port?

So I just bought my first G35 today - 06 6MT and am so far very satisfied with it. Along with a new purchase comes the inevitable of learning the ins and outs.

I'm figuring out most of the bells and whistles on my own, and if not, I've got the user manual, but I just can't figure out how/if this works:

Obviously, this is an aftermarket AUX port. The reason for the switch? Subs, maybe? Not sure. Anyhow, I can't get it to work. I tried switching to both SAT options but haven't had any luck. I have not dug into the dash/interior yet and was wondering if you guys could give me some insight/information on how it works or how to find out if it works... I neeeeeeed an auxiliary port some way some how!

Thanks,

Jimmie

You've got the iSimple IS77:

The power switch turns the wired FM modulator on and off. The device is tuned to either 87.9MHz or 88.3MHz, but if you turn it on and hit seek, it should be the only station that the radio finds, unless you're by a very strong transmitter that the radio picks up without an antenna.

Thanks for the response. I tried both stations as well as seek with no luck. I'm wondering of I'll have to open up the trim and see what's going on under there.
