After searching through the thread, here are the serial numbers of the kits. Mine is the one for cars that are prewired for Satellite, but wouldn't be using satellite while this is attached.

I searched, and this will work for your car since it's 06. It actually will work BETTER than it did on my car because I couldn't use the steering wheel to change songs.

I'm reading this only works with iPods which is fine and it obviously doesn't come with the lightning connector but will it work with any iPod?

Yes. This actually works best with an iPod. I used my Video Ipod (5th gen?) with this and it kept it always charged.

When I used my iPhone 4 it actually didn't charge, but connected to play music.

Does anyone know of a 30 pin Bluetooth receiver that will work with the factory iPod system. I tried one and it would power up, sync up with my iPhone but no music.
