I really need some help figuring out what is wrong with my car.
I was trying to install a mediabox on my car and everything worked.
when i went to start my car it cranked but wouldn't start. Soon the dash lights and ac and radio stopped working. now, my car drained the battery and won't start at all.
Can anyone help?

I'm not sure what the media box is but you probably hooked it up to constant power (yellow wire, or maybe not yellow with 12V all the time even when car is off).
You should make sure it is hooked up to switched power only.

I meant media bridge
I took it off the car as soon as I noticed the dash lights were flickering.
It connects into the factory harness and didn't require me to tap in the 12v line
It's one of these

Get the battery checked first. Start simple.

I wonder why it was draining it though
Could be getting old, and if you didn't disconnect it during the install, running the interior lights for a couple hours took it down enough it couldn't perform its duties.Originally Posted by tnguyen
