Aftermarket head unit is QUIET !
i replaced the the bose 6cd factory unit with an aftermarket deck, but now the sound is very quiet, i can barely hear it cranked up, starts becoming distorted.
looking for the least costly way to fix this, maybe add some watts ???
is there a plug n play amp without having rewire all the speakers ?

Any amp is going to need new power and ground wires, but just about any 4-channel amp can replace the bose amp by only powering the rear deck and front door speakers using the factory speaker wiring. Using a 6-channel amp to include the rear doors/sides isn't worth the added cost and much more limited amplifier selection. The factory speaker wiring is just fine, I'm running 150w to each of the front doors through it (and nothing to my rear doors).
