The JDM trim is on backorder with no known delivery date from Nissan Japan, so they're going anywhere from $300 to 400 if you can find them. Best places to look are eBay and the marketplace of this forum. The Metra kit runs about $170 online.

The steering wheel control adapter runs $40-50 online.

If you have the bose sound system, the adapter is $40, without bose, it's a $10 wiring harness.

Antenna adapter is another $10.

Labor is nearly free by doing it yourself, while paying a shop varies greatly. Could be $50, but about $100-150 is average, more depending on if you're including a backup camera, an amp, speaker replacements or anything else.

Touchscreen double dins start at $200 for a "no-name" chinese brand to over $1000 for a flagship navigation unit.

So, low end, about $200+ radio, going up to about $500+radio+installation.

If you need to know the exact parts you need or instructions to do it yourself, check this thread. You really only need the first three posts (and links from those said posts) to get it done right. Trying to read the entire thread will probably just confuse you with outdated information.

So I saw your video from the link and was wondering how much that would would cost. I was trying to find something close to that for my Automatic sedan and also have a ipod plug in and back up camera. My friend said labor for all the wiring would add up. I was also wondering what the difference between the Metra and the JDM trim.

Thanks a lot.

The radio in the automatic is an older pioneer (it *was* a new model when I got it 5 years ago) it ran about $600 if I remember correctly.

The difference between the two is explained in the FAQ section of that post.

Good estimate ^

I paid for a used JDM kit $200 shipped like new

And I got a JVC cd DVD Bluetooth ,on Black Friday for $299

All in all I could not be happier with it . Except I lost the steering wheel control that's another $100

No, it won't fit. You need the 03/04 trim kit.
