What's up guys. Just picked up a Pioneer AppRadio for the car. Anyone else using one? If so, did you buy the Pioneer cable to connect your iPhone or just a regular apple lightning cable? Thanks guys 👍🏾

I don't have one in my G, but I did put an AppRadio 3 in my Audi.
Do you have an iPhone or Android? I didn't buy any additional cables or anything, but I can display my phone to it and control my phone via the touch screen of the AppRadio. I want to put one in my G, but I can't justify the cost. I have an Android BTW.
Whoops, just saw you have an iPhone. Not sure what I did will work for your iPhone.
I rooted my Android.
Bought AppRadio Unchained.
Google Chromecast connected to HDMI of AppRadio
Launch AppRadio
Cast screen to AppRadio and Bluetooth is used to communicate screen presses on AppRadio to my phone.

Iphone needs HDMI and power from USB, which are both in the back of the Appradio headunit. You will need an HDMI + apple to apple connector to connect to your phone.
