Aftermarket Alarm.

The 03 coupe I just picked up has an aftermarket alarm w/ remote start. I hate aftermarket alarms so I want to get rid of it. Where is the brain usually installed in this car so I can do in there and remove it? And is there anything I should watch out for so to not screw it up worse than it is?

I only have the Viper remote, not the OEM key fob, I had read that with remote start the keyfob is sometimes left in the car so that can work, where is that usually hidden if it even is?

I would need to look at the brain for that, yes? All I have is the remote which only says Viper SST 1-way on it.

Yeah, that is most likely tucked under the dash below the left air vent.
