Aftermarket Radio

Greetings, after buying a G35 coupe 07, I wanted a screen instead of the original radio. I was told it's connected to the A/C and if I wanted to have an aftermarket radio I will have to change the center console or something, is it true and if yes how much such a job would cost? Or if no, does it mean I can buy a radio from my Best-buy buddy and go ahead and install it? (I just want the aesthetic looking of having a screen in my interior no need for anything fancy as a GPS or such)

Thank you!

It will be more expensive than you expect, and you should look at the DDin install thread.
