Weird sound system glitch

Hi guys, here's a weird one for you, Hoping get some advice on why/how this is happening.

I installed the isimple aux input to work with the sat button. The aux works, although rather low volume, it does the job. I was driving with my friend and he says that my right speakers arent working. I checked it and hes right, also when i put the balance all the way on the right theres no sound at all. then i noticed that whenever i have the phone charger plugged in, it cut out the right channel, when i unplug it everything works..how the hell?..

also. i have a similar set up on my lexus rx330 with a different aux input and it works perfectly so i know its not the phone

Car: 2003 Coupe 6mt
Phone: android note 4
Aux: isimple adapter

thanks in advance!

Research the specs for the input impedance and the impedance of the device you are connecting.

Check your wiring

Did you purchase the correct model for your vehicle with the correct wiring harness?
I believe there is a different harness for Bose and Non Bose vehicles.
Did you carefully follow the installation instructions?
Did you properly set the Dip Switches?
Perhaps what you purchased is defective?
Return/ exchange it!
The company recommends professional installation
Did you call their toll free number for assistance?

its the correct bose harness,
everything installed according to instructions
instructions sid not to touch dip switches unless specified
most likely defective device, ill proceed to returning it this week.
i get why they want professional installation, getting to the back of the headunit is a bit of a PIA but the device itself has 2 connections, thats hard to mess up

Does the sound cut out if you connect an external battery instead of external power from the car?
