Complete Double DIN kit with Metra/Kenwood/PAC
SOLD AS OF 6/24/17
Full double DIN conversion kit for G35. Approximately 18 months use but all in perfect working order. It was installed and removed by a custom car audio shop. Kit includes the following:
Kenwood Excelon DPX791BH receiver.
From Crutchfield: Are you all about the music while you drive? Kenwood's DPX791BH CD receiver includes Bluetooth with aptX® processing for crystal-clear wireless audio streaming, Pandora and iHeartRadio Internet Radio integration for your smartphone, a built-in HD Radio™ tuner for superb AM/FM sound quality, and controls for an optional SiriusXM satellite radio tuner. Its 4" tall front panel provides easily accessible controls for your music, while its variable-color display makes it look right at home in your dash.
This unit made a huge sound improvement over the stock unit with just the stock speakers. The Bluetooth sound and call quality is excellent in the G35 with the included microphone. This head unit retailed for $199.
Metra 95-7605 Dash Kit (Brushed Aluminum version) 05-07 G35: The necessary evil of upgrading the G35s. This unit works fine and is the brushed aluminum that matches the G trim. This also retailed for $199.
PAC SWI-CP5 Steering wheel control adapter. This keeps the functionality for the steering wheel buttons and is already programmed to match up to the Kendwood receiver. I changed the on/off button to be a phone answer button. This does not include the mini USB adapter cable, but if you want to reprogram, any standard mini USB should work. This retailed for $60.
