XM/AUX unselectable after dead battery

XM/AUX unselectable after dead battery
I have an isimple auxiliary input installed in my 2006 G35 Coupe. It also has factory XM radio installed. Usually, pressing "radio" out cycles through AM, FM and Aux. I replaced my battery after it died and now the system only cycles through AM and FM (it doesn't go to XM [factory option], or the . AUX mode as before).
The AM/FM radio works fine, but somehow it's not recognising the XM/Aux mode.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Front and rear cameras, tire pressure for all four tires can display on screen, folding side view mir
When my previous 06 G35 6 speed needed a battery after pricing them the dealer was only $20 more than other shops
The dealer replaced my battery and everything worked when I left
Same with my current 2012 when i replaced the battery a few months ago
Everything worked when I left the dealer
Good luck

Yea, threes not much to replacing it, I did it myself and checked the Infiniti shop manual just to be sure.
I think the problem came from having a 100% dead battery or trying to charge it while it was connected to the car. I modified the input with an isimple audio adapter that basically acts as a channel on the XM radio selection (says AUX 1 instead of a channel number), I suppose the problem is there, but it's nothing the dealership is responsible for. I was hoping someone had a similar issue or knows a quick fix.
I may end up having to break out the volt meter and check connections underneath the gear shift (where I have the audio/video stuff). I can still mirror my phone on the nav display. And my backup cam still works so im pretty sure the problem is strictly I the audio side. Hopefully I don't have to pull the radio again, that's a pain in the butt!
