I have the premium Bose system but it lacks any bass. I was thinking about adding 1 10 inch sub to get the added bass. Do I need an aftermarket amp or not? Any suggestions on which sub to get?

 

Only 1? ... get two so they're symmetrical! woohoO~

 

depending on how much you wanna spend....
first get a 4080 box that fits the car perfectly for one ten sub..

rockford fosgate punch 3
image dynamics id

a little more $
jl audio 10w3 or even better 10w6 (requires a lot of power)
adire shiva
diamond audio m3

these should do just fine in your car, but they all definately require the power from an aftermarket amplifier... look on ebay you'll find something cheap
