I have a V1 hardwired with a concealed display. I mount the V1 behind the rear view so that just the rear detector sticks out the side. I mounted the concealed display under my aftermarket GPS. That way people cannot see it from behind thru the window.

I also put in a button under the steering wheel to turn it off quick when needed. Reaching behind the mirror to turn it off was a PITA.

Im thinking on having an install done. 50$ to have a cable go from fuse box along the a pillar and a hole drilled on the roof (unoticeable part) where you hook detector to.

EDIT - DHCrocks - what does it do when you are in warp mode?

How did you manage to get the units i the grill? I've got M20 for my birthday but looking at the grill (coupe) and jammer units serioulsy considering returning it. BTW, do you have it linked with X50 or standalone? I got both units but was only able to find information that they are compatible without details on how they work together.

Thanks,
Igor

you need to trim the grill to get it to fit. check out my yahoo photo album for detailed pics.

it's a stand alone units no interconnection with any other detectors.
