2001 Skyline Metra Kit?

Will the Metra 99-7604 for the 03-04 G35 work in a 2001 Skyline 300GT with Nav and Bose?

My gut says it will probably work but I've never heard of someone trying.

That's what I'm thinking. The radio trim looks identical to the metra kit. Just don't want to drop the $200 and have it shipped to Japan if it won't work.

My bigger question though, why are you going for a Metra? I think the Scosche unit was the better quality one for the earlier models.

Honestly, because I found the Metra in stock at crutchfield and they ship quick here. If I could find the scosche in stock I'd probably go that route. But I need it sooner than later. My radio went out and my AC is stuck on 25c. It's already toasty here and I don't need more added. Lol.
