I have 2 lights showing up on my dashboard. 1 is the yellow Keyless Access /Start Fault indicator, 2 is the red Security/Immobilizer indicator.
The car starts and runs fine. I took it to the repair shop and they said it was the Neutral Park Switch (Parts and Repair $1100). I thought about either trying to fix myself or just driving as is.
My question is, has anyone else had this issue, and will the car continue to start okay if I do nothing, and has anyone attempted this repair and if so how hard is it? Thanks

 

Doubt it's the PNP switch, all those lights are basically saying the car can't regocnize the key transponder.

Probably just needs a new key/fob if it's an intelligent key start system.
