4080, how does the sedan enclosure mount to the vehicle? What thickness is the fiberglass on the final product?

Do you have an enclosure available for a JL Audio 8w7? Sealed or ported?

Can you PM me with a price for the enclosures you offer for the sedan? I have an 05 if the trunks are different. Thanks.

The sedan box does not need to be mounted, it is a tight fit. I could not move the box while driving. Out of 30+ sedan boxes sold I have not heard of anyone with a box moving issue. The box is made out of 1/4" fiberglass with a 3/4" MDF mounting ring. The box would work with a 8W7 sealed. The 05' sedan has the same trunk. The only thing to look for in any sedan is if you have a full size spare. If so, the trunk has been raised 2" to become flush with the larger spare tire. This cuts into the boxes air space. Let me know if you have the full size spare and PM for prices.

4080, will the standard and/or Infiniti grille work with a JL Audio W7 Sub? I am concerned that the excursion of the woofer will cause the surround to hit the grille??? Thanks.

The W7 will not work with this box. Try the W6V2, much better sub IMO.

I thought that you could, but now that I think about it, I don't think that I have ever seen a picture of a passenger side 4080 enclosure.

I'll just have to wait and see when 4080 gets back to me.

I hope so. That would be sweet! Than, I can use both my JL 10W6v2's, two JL 500/1 amps, AND have a trunk!!! Life couldn't get any better, ha ha.

I don't think you can. 4080 mentioned in another post that because of the fuel tank on the other side, the space wouldn't be the same...therefore the size of the 2 boxes would be different = mismatch sound

Your right Mr. Digital, no pass. side box. The fuel neck takes up too much space. If I did build two boxes, the pass. side woofer would not play as loud, not play as low, and not handle as much power as the driver side. Too many issues for everyone. Just invest in one really nice woofer/amp combo, you will not be disapointed.

Thanks again, 4080
