When are you planning to release/sale you carputer product? What will be included in it (i.e. screen, dvd, gps) and how much are you planning to see it for?

 

I'll probably have a release in early summer, probably May. I probably won't be selling anything directly, but I am working with resellers who will bundle it with a complete plug and play hardware package and there will probably be multiple packages available at the time of release and definitly ones including DVD and GPS hardware. I do not know what the status of the G35 screen housings will be by then. I will probably stop selling the housings within a week or two and save the few remaining ones for the software release to provide as a complete package, but they probably won't last long after that.

In terms of price a ballpark figure would probably put it around $1500. The software alone will be under $100 for non-NAV and under $300 for NAV equipped.

 

Is the install going to be complicated with all the features your software has to offer? Also if you are not making the touch screens anymore, do you know how we can get one?

 

The install is as complicated as you want to make it. If all you want is MP3s and videos you just have to throw the computer in there. If you need rear view camera you'll have to install one of those and choose it from the settings menu and your good to go, for NAV same thing, install the GPS device and choose a COM port, etc.

If I do end up discontinueing the screen housing product line, I will release all the CAD files I used to have the housing machined.

 

So, if I want to guarantee receiving your screen and housing for my 2004 G35 sedan I better order it within the next 2 weeks? I too was waiting to see what package or packages you were going to put together (screen, carputer, GPS, software, etc.). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

 

Im feeling the same way, I was going to order but choose to wait and for you to complete you nav program. I was planning to get the housing and touchscreen, and build my own comp with your progam running it. its still possible, knowing i will have to purchase the small things like antenna, pac, etc...

what do you suggest, will this be a package u are going to sell.
