Gamecube done?

hi. I have thought of buying a nintendo gamecube which is now (99.99 brand new) and getting one of those monitors that attach to it (99.99 including car adapater).

Reasons are:

1. Cheap (A little over 200. Try buying an actual monitor. Much more money)

2. Portable (You can plug it in your car, or play it in your room, or anywhere basically with an outlet)

3. Fun (Videogames in a car is always fun)

So what do you guys think? I am yet to see anyone do it yet (prob cause it's immature, and whatnot). I was thinking about putting it on top of the armrest? of the rear passenger seats (I have a sports coupe) on top of the emergency kit. You guys know what I'm talking about. So whenever I'm bored, or waiting for someone, or waiting in between classes I can just sit in my back seats and turn on the gamecube and play some video games. Or my friends can play while i'm driving, but I like to use the front arm rest to lean on, so the gamecube would have to be in the back. I'd probably leave it in a backpack in the trunk the whole time. What do you guys think?

Not bad for a lil over 200 dollars, eh? They sell the monitors at kbtoys and i think toys r' us so u can go check it out. pretty good deal. they used to cost 150, but now are 100.

You might as well spend the extra $50 and get a PS2. Now when you're bored you can either watch DVDs or play games. That was my reasoning for installing a PS2 instead of just a DVD player.

but I am not installing a dvd player... and there is no space for the PS2 because the monitor is attached to it, so I wouldn't be able to open it. I think you have the wrong idea of what kind of monitor I am trying to get. Go to kbtoys and type in monitor and you will see. Where would I put the ps2 because it definately won't fit in the glove box when the monitor is opened. And both monitors (gamecube and ps2 are the same size, just to let you know)
