soundstream subs

what does everyone think of these? I had an spl12 back in the day and I always thought it was awesome. I just looked at their site and they have a lot of nice looking subs.

I've got a Soundstream 5 channel 800 watt Tarantula AMP, and Soundstream 10" sub in the back of my current daily driver, sounds awesome, and the price is good, 0 complaints. I think the specs on the Sub were .75 cubic feet of airspace non ported. I'm using a box with slightly less airspace than that, and the kickdrums hit hard and tight. It's a nice sub IMHO, good bang for the buck.

Edit: I remember what my audio guy said about the company. Back in the day they were one of the tops in the business, then fell off, got bought out. But in the last couple of years are making strides again. I have their stuff (he just got me a deal on everything that I couldn't refuse) powering everything in my daily right now, front components, rears (for fill), sub, and amp, good stuff.

They had a couple years of financial issues, and the other mfr's out there were beating them as far as power/quality. But they've come back around full swing.
