Will the navi still be able to compute mpg and maitenence intervals correctly? Also, will the car still be able to track its position?

Definately look in to this before you plan on going this route. We have found that very few shops want to mess with products that they don't represent. And, most of the shops that will do it, charge outragious rates!

I strongly agree. Having the NAV prgramming while moving is a HUGE plus to the nonag!
