Bose Sub grounding out

Do any of you guys have any problems with the sub grounding out and making a popping sound? The popping sound comes and goes...but took it into the dealer and they told me they can't repair until it is broken.

I know it is broken but it does not do it when it is at the dealership. So I am just waiting for it to blow.

Man I just hate dealers. Are they just that stupid or just that smart.

BTW...i'd say a snap, crack, and popping sound from the speaker quantifies as being blown. But I bet you they'll say you turned it up too loud and blew it yourself and the warranty doesnt cover excessive and abusive use. but good luck.

oh yeah, i had that problem before with my old car. It only pops and grounds out at certain frequencies. so be sure to use the exact same song/cd which makes your sub act funky, then bring it to the dealership and blast that thing for them.

i didn't want to start another thread and this problem sounds like what i have...

usually when the weather is cold and when i barely start up my car i hear that my radio is on and everything but i only hear the built in sub from the factory bose system...the only treble i hear are from my two front speakers from the door and the sub sounds like it's blown...

after that i restart my car and the sound goes back to normal does neone else have this problem?

i've read that the stock head unit has resetting problems, just wondering this isn't the same issue right? btw i have an 05 and i've had it bout over a year now...

radio not working in cold weather

ive got the bose stock sound system in my 05 g35 and when i go to start my car when its really cold out ive noticed my radio will take 5-15 minutes before it starts to make any noise the head unit and everything is working and lighting up but no sound. its like you hit the mute button and all of a sudden it kicks on. it only does it when it is really cold out side any ideas.
