Mounting Amp on rear seats?

This is going to sound like a dumb question, but I have my Speaker amp mounted on the rear of the seats. What I don't know is how it's being held up? I need to know because Saturday I'm doing my car audio install which includes my sub amp.

Most likely, screwed into the seat. Or possibly velcro on the back of the amp to the seat (though I doubt this)

Best suggestion is to just go look at it and see if there are screws, or what is actually holding it there.

I don't know about the sedan back seat, but the coupe is made of particle board.....not good to screw an amp too and expect to last very long....I slid 2 pieces of wood strip behind the particle board and screwed my amp to the wood strips.......
