Nissan Sirius on-glass antenna install question

Nissan Sirius on-glass antenna install question
So my on-glass internal antenna for Sirius is due to arrive today; I plan to mount it just to the side of the rearview mirror and run the antenna cable back to the SAT receiver. So here is my question(s):
1. how hard is it to remove the headliner in order to run the cable underneath?
2. Are there any instructions which might be helpful in doing so?
PS I did search before posting this
Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the info. So down through A-piller, eh? I was thinking into the headliner and all the way to the back and down the rear piller into the trunk.
So I got the thing from mynissanparts.com
SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO - SIRIUS ON GLASS ANTENNA 999U9-VR002 $67.85
If there is interest i will post pics once it's done. I have an internal mount on the parcel shelf in back, but it drops out a bit more than i like.

When the antenna arrives, could you let me know what type of connection it has to the Sirius tuner? I would like to know if the antenna would connect to my Clarion plug and play unit, which requires a single round connection. A photo would be great. Thanks.

So I did get it, but didn't have time to get it installed - stupid job!
I'll post pics of the thing tonight, but:
1. The connection to the tuner is the Nissan single wire, green plastic doohickey around circular connector. It ships with the two-wire adapter for the OEM Sat. The antenna itself appears to be mfgr'd by Clarion, and people at Sirius Backstage report it plugs in just fine to PNP units once you pry the green plastic off.
2. Antenna is LARGE. I think it will probably be unpleasant to mount on the rear glass for that reason. For the front glass, it will not fit to the left of the rearview, only to the right. It is reasonably hidden there.

So it's still not installed, but I took some photos with my camera phone. If you want higher res, let me know. I should be able to install this weekend and I'll take better photos of that.
If you look at the top of this photo you can see my TERK SIR-mini, which should give you some sense of the size of this thing.
Here's a shot of the connector.

Sure! Here are pics of it installed. I went with the rear glass, mainly because I didn't feel like pulling all the panels and pillars to run it from the front glass. Although it is huge, in profile (as in from the rear view mirror), it doesn't eat a lot of visibility at all.

From inside looking back:
So far, great reception, no dropouts. Installation was EXTREMELY easy.
