Question Help with installing subs?

Hey guys, just got my "new" '03 sedan and I would like to transfer my 2 12" subs and my 1000w amplifier over from my old car. With my old car (95' Grand Am) it was pretty cut and dry to install these. But, with the G I don't know how to go about this exactly. I need to know how to remove the head unit so I can get back there and do all the wiring. Also, if anyone has done their own install, whats the best way to get the power cable through to the battery?

Thanks for any help in advance,

Mansack

(btw, I know I also posted this in the "G35 Sedan" section, but I think it's better off being in here)

this is how to remove the existing head unit...

http://www.g-owners.com/article_read.asp?id=33

for the power cable to the battery, my installer drilled a hole right behind the glove compartment. remove the glove compartment, the lining, and the battery to see where will work the best. i think theres a circle in the metal firewall that would be a good place to drill thru...

good luck!

Thanks a lot GRider35c, that'll definatly help out. I appreciate it.

And I did do a search... many searches in fact on google and on these forums, I might have just been searching for the wrong things. Obviously, huh?
