Acura Navi System in a G?

Is that possible? Like to get their GPS System or GPS box, or w/e their interface is, and put it onto a G? Just wondering...

most likely not because as far as i know the acura nav system is integrated into other things like the radio and climate controls... you'll probably be better off buying yourself an acura and trying to make it perform like a G lol plus it would look really wierd starting up your Infiniti and have an Acura logo pop up lol

If the acura system uses something like a proprietary CAN bus to get the information it needs, you can forget about doing something like this altogeter. If it doesn't and it just needs a speed signal from the car, it is probably just a matter of getting the acura system the input it needs from the car. YOu might actually be able to pull this off if you get an old acura nav system, but those new ones with all that bluetooth cell phone support and integrated onscreen radio controls are almost certainly an indication of a complicated data bus feeding it.

In any case though, the first problem you'll have to face isn't whether you could get it to work, its really how much it will cost you. Even if it is possible, if the cost of the acura system is like the G35's, your looking at at least 6 grand in parts from the dealer which could buy you a far better and easier to install aftermarket system.
